I will walk your dog with the love, care and attention that they deserve. This makes their walks an experience they always look forward to, giving you peace of mind!

As an added bonus, I’m a qualified trainer and behaviourist, instinctively incorporating my knowledge into all walking sessions.

Dog Walking

We all know what our dog loves…… walks, walks, walks and even more walks.

In a perfect world, it would be optimal to walk your dog at least once a day. The opportunity of a walk allows them to partake in important dog behaviours, which helps keep them healthy and emotionally balanced.

But the reality is, we don’t live in a perfect world! I’m sure, as a dog owner, you would love to get out for a daily walk, but sometimes it’s just not possible. Longer working hours, ill health and hectic schedules leave little spare time.

This is where a dog walker could be a perfect solution for you. Whether it’s one walk a week or a few walks a week, I can tailor-make a schedule that suits you.

How it works

I offer dog walking for those living in and around the Stillorgan, Co. Dublin area. My service area covers a 4km radius of Stillorgan Village.

You can avail of private walks (meaning just your dog) or paired walks (meaning 2 dogs from different households). Once I get to know your dog, I can pair him/her with another client’s dog.

Initially, all walks are private walks allowing us to get to know each other and to build on our friendship. This also gives me time to teach recall, loose lead walking, etc, if needed.
After a month or two, if you would like me to pair your dog with another client’s, just ask.

I will only ever pair up dogs who both benefit from each other’s company. I sometimes bring along my own little guy, Louie, a terrier cross, who is very sociable.

I walk in your locality where there might be a park, a beach, a field, woods, a stream, anywhere in South Co Dublin that I think your dog would enjoy. I walk in all weather, so all walks are guaranteed.

On the really wet and windy days, we always go to the local shop and get hot sausages. Stormy days are hot sausage days! And don’t worry. I have raincoats for them and always towel dry them when home.

All walks are based on fun, fun, and more fun. Where we go and what we do is determined by what your dog likes. Be it strolling, playing ball, swimming, forest adventures, mingling etc and to keep things interesting, I change location from day to day.

Walks last between 40 mins and 2 hours depending on the day/route/dogs. So your dog will be out for a minimum of 40 mins. I will send daily updates and photos so you can see that your dog is enjoying him/herself.

The Meet and Greet

Once you contact me, we will arrange a free Meet and Greet, at your home, at a time that suits you, with absolutely no obligation on your part. The Meet and Greet will take approx. 45 mins, giving you both the opportunity to decide if I’m the right walker for you.
If you are happy to proceed, we will go through the paperwork together, which includes important info about your dog, contact details, home access details, days you require me, etc.
If you would like to know a little more about me and my qualifications, please go to my ‘About Me’ page.

The Benefits Of Dog Walking

We tend to underestimate the powerful benefits of a daily walk. These outings enable dogs to fully engage in important species-specific behaviours, and these behaviours release neurochemicals such as dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin, known as the happy brain chemicals, promoting physical and emotional wellbeing.
